It all began with two people: Hennie and Gertjie, united by their shared love for coffee and a deep desire to create a space where people could come together, feel at home, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

At the end of 2023, Gertjie took the first bold steps toward bringing this vision to life. With a heart full of ideas and a passion for people, she imagined a place that offered not just coffee but a sense of belonging. Hennie saw the potential in her idea and ran with it, helping to design and build a one-of-a-kind coffee shop that would stand out in more ways than one.
The result? A beautifully designed space offering both drive-thru convenience for busy mornings and a welcoming sit-down area for those who want to stay a while, connect with others, or simply unwind with a cup of something special.

Coffee Snob
In January 2024, the doors officially opened under the name Coffee Snob, as part of a popular franchise based in Nylstroom. The name spoke to their commitment to quality and a curated coffee experience. From the beginning, the shop quickly became a local favorite, known not only for its rich coffee aromas but for the warmth and friendliness that filled the space.
A New Identity

By the end of 2024, Gertjie made the decision to step out on her own and give the shop a unique identity that reflected its local roots and personal character. And so, Koffie@H62 was born.
The name is a nod to its location and its story - a place where great coffee meets heartfelt hospitality. Now independent, Koffie@H62 embraces creativity, flexibility, and a strong community focus that sets it apart from big brands and cookie-cutter cafés.
